Welcome and Hospitality Teams

The goal of these teams is to help create a warm and inviting atmosphere so that every person feels welcome!

Greeters

Andy and Debbie Vobora, 541-461-3962, debvee12@gmail.com

Can you welcome people with a handshake or friendly smile? Are you a “people person”? The Greeting Team is an important part of our serving ministry by creating a welcoming atmosphere to Sunday mornings. Plus we have a lot of fun meeting new people! Greeters are needed to serve once a month on this team.

HST: Health and Safety Team

Mark Evans, 541-461-0616
Overseeing the safety and well-being of every person on the Eugene Faith Center campus is a high priority. The Health and Safety Team needs those interested in giving of their time and effort including people with law enforcement or security backgrounds and medical personnel such as doctors, nurses, firefighters, EMTs and health workers. Help is needed patrolling our parking lots and general campus during all services. Two-way radios are provided. Medical personnel are needed to assist in medical situations until emergency assistance arrives. This team is on a rotating basis so no one serves more than one or two services per month. The HST is a great way to serve the needs of our congregation by using your gifts and skills to keep people safe and healthy.

Information Center
Shelly Williams, 541-686-9244
The Information Center in the Atrium is an important contact point for people to find out about classes, upcoming events and youth and children’s activities. Volunteers answer questions ranging from, “Where does my child’s class meet?” to “Do you have any programs for singles?”. You can be the answer person one Sunday or Wednesday a month. Team members are also needed to be greeters at the Atrium doors.

Ushers

Mark Evans, 541-461-0616
This group of dedicated men and women serve on a rotational basis as our front line hospitality team inside the Worship Center during services. They greet and seat people, take up the offering and serve communion periodically.
