Water Baptism

“Repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and then you too can receive the Holy Spirit.”                 - Acts 2:38

The above quote was the response Jesus’ disciples gave when asked by the people what they should do to accept and follow Jesus. Baptism means our sins are washed away, our old ways are buried in a watery grave and we are raised to new life through the power of the Spirit. If you have questions about following Jesus or getting baptized, contact George Boehmer at 541-686-9244 or george@faithcenter.net.

Water baptisms are held the first Sunday of each month unless otherwise noted in the church bulletin. Please bring a towel and change of clothes and meet in Room 110 for a short time of instruction. Baptisms will immediately follow the last service.

Please note that baptisms will be held on Easter Sunday instead of the first Sunday in April.

Upcoming Dates:

Sunday, April 8 (Easter Morning), 11:00 a.m.

Sunday, May 6, 10:30 a.m.

Sunday, June 3, 10:30 a.m.

(We recommend that children wait until the 5th grade to be baptized. If you have questions please contact Jannine Johnson or Andy Gilbert at 541-686-9244.)
